Solar Panel Bird Proofing + Solar Panel Cleaning · West Hoxton

Solar Panel Cleaning & Bird Proofing — West Hoxton

Black bird-proofing mesh fitted around a stepped solar array on a tiled roof, with the panels cleaned.

The issue

Open edges beneath a stepped section of the solar array left a sheltered gap above the roof tiles where birds could get under the panels.

What we found

The gap between the panel edges and the tiles was open along the stepped section of the array photographed before the work.

Work completed

  • Solar panel cleaning
  • Black bird-proofing mesh fitted around the array perimeter
  • Mesh shaped to follow the stepped panel edge and the contours of the roof tiles

Outcome

In the photographed section, the open edge beneath the array is closed off with black mesh that follows the panel edge and the roof tiles.
